Active Learning

At PCA, we believe that an effective education doesn’t just come from memorizing or lecturing. Active participation in the learning process entails analyzing, discussing and collaborating - in order to comprehend and retain. All of our courses are designed to encourage deep mental processing and student engagement with the class material.

Middle School Academics

Our academics for middle and high school students at PCA are primary in partnership with Bob Jones University curricula. Middle school has Abeka curricula for limited subjects, as well as Apologia curricula for high school Human Anatomy. Middle school students will be continuing their review and mastery with foundational subject content to help reinforce scaffold learning. As they progress each year, they will be building

upon their previous education to ensure they have a solid grasp of subject material before entering into specific subject learning. Below is a list of specialized classes in middle school, as well as electives, that will be offered to help students get ready for the structure of high school.
