Statement of Faith

We believe:
-
The entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.
-
In one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as the Savior of the world.
-
Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
-
Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
-
As children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.
-
We are to evangelize the lost, edify the saved, minister to those in need, and be a conscience in the community.

Philosophy of Education for PCA
The educational process in a Christian school is dependent on a Biblical philosophy that provides the right worldview and essential truths for life so that children may be prepared to assume their proper place in the home, the church, and the State. Accordingly, the following is the Philosophy of Education for Pineview Christian Academy.
The philosophy of Pineview Christian Academy is based upon a God-centered view that all truth is God’s truth, and that the Bible is the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God that contains truth. God created all things and sustains all things. Therefore, the universe and humanity are dynamically related to God and have the purpose of glorifying Him. Because humans are sinners by nature and choice, they cannot glorify or know God. A person can do this only by choosing God’s gift of salvation through his Son, thereby committing his or her life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Our aim socially is to provide a Christian perspective on life and the world from which will come a balanced personality and a proper understanding and acceptance of one’s role in life at home, at work, at play, and at worship – all grounded in the Christian concept of love.
This philosophy channels our energies to promoting high academic standards while helping students achieve skills in creative and critical thinking, using the best integrated curriculum materials available. Our philosophy dictates that we cooperate and partner closely with parents in every phase of the student’s development, always offering assistance in understanding the purpose of the Christian school.
